My Video Habits

Videos are how people keep up to date with the latest news, gossip, trends, and whatever else is on their Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, or Twitter feeds. I am very guilty of laying in bed and watching Tik Tok for longer than I should admit. Sometimes I am watching Tik Tok and it will be about 10:00 PM and the next time I look at my phone the time says 1:00 A.M., that is when I know I started habit. What really makes these videos sooooooo interesting that we lose track of time that bad? Literally everything.

Social Media Videos

When it comes to Facebook, I am guilty of watching all the military coming home videos (tear jerker). I follow a couple Facebook accounts called Tasty and Twisted. These Facebook accounts have hundred of cooking videos from ribs to mac and cheese to birthday cakes and everything in between. I get very sidetracked when watching those mouth watering videos.

With Instagram, I mainly watch makeup tutorial videos and eyebrow videos. But some of my favorite videos to watch do not fall in the category of makeup. I LOVEEEE watching soap cutting videos. I know, weird right? I can literally fall asleep watching those videos. They are so satisfying. I can watch these for hours and not get tired of them.

Netflix

I think Netflix is a streaming service that everyone can admit to watching too much of. I know I watch enough because I always get the "Are you still watching ........ ?" all the time. 

With Netflix there are plenty of shows I tend to bend watch. Criminal Minds is probably one of my favorite shows ever. I do not really know why I like it *cough cough Matthew Gray Gubler cough cough* but I when I do not have anything else do to, I will sit there and watch every episode again and again like I haven't seen them 50 times already.

Cold Case Files is a show I also binge watch. There are only 10 episodes on Netflix but they are soooo good. Some of those cases took up to 35 years to get solved. That is so crazy. One of my favorite episodes comes from a case where there was a mayo jar left on the chair and since at that time, DNA was not very known they just put it in a storage container. 35 years later, the mayo jar still had finger prints on it and that is how they caught him.

Another show I always watch is The Ranch. They just came out with Part 8, which will ultimately be the last season. This show follows the Bennett Family, particularly the youngest son, Colt Bennett. He was an amazing athlete who wanted to go to the NFL put ultimatley ended up coming back home to work on his family ranch with his father and brother. This has become one of my favorite shows. My family and I watched it together for our "family bonding" time. 

Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime is something that I absolutely love!!!! It has amazing movies to chose from and sometimes a better selection than you see on Netflix.

My guilty addiction on Amazon Prime is The Dukes of Hazzard. That is a show that I grew up watching with my parents and grandparents. Even to this day I absolutely love watching it. I mean, my first childhood crushes were Bo and Luke Duke. :)

Obviously, as you can tell, I am obsessed with many different things on different streaming services. After writing this blog, I realized I may or may not have a problem with watching Tv and videos.
